Sarah Barrett is the Managing Director of Strategy & Operations at Opportunity College, where she leads the early-stage organization’s operating model design, external partnerships, marketing, fundraising and talent functions. She previously served as the Managing Director of Career Pathways and Director of Operations at Array Education, a non-profit organization that helps entrepreneurs launch enduring, equity‐driven, scalable solutions to our most pressing education challenges.

Prior to joining Array Education, Sarah was the Manager of Human Capital Investments at Education Forward DC, a grantmaking organization in Washington D.C., where she grew a portfolio of teacher pipeline and school leadership grantees and helped set citywide talent strategy across public agencies, local education agencies and foundations. Sarah was a co-founding team member for Education Forward DC, supporting the team’s spinout from NewSchools Venture Fund, where she served on the DC Schools Fund team.

Sarah began her career at Bain & Company. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Urban Policy and Planning from the University of Southern California.
